Good Potential submitted by jgerman79 on July 24, 2019, 9:20pm As with all Star Trek series, this one flounders some in it's first season while trying to establish itself. But it does have good potential.

A new voyage submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on June 15, 2022, 12:43pm "Voyager" is the fourth Star Trek TV series (or fifth, if one counts the cartoon series) and the first with a woman as captain. Capt. Kathryn Janeway (clearly based on Katharine Hepburn) leads a new crew in a new ship on its first mission: to take out a Maquis (rebel) ship. Along the way, both Voyager and the Maquis ship in the galaxy's Delta Quadrant, far from home in the Alpha Quadrant where Earth is located.
The rest of the series, seven seasons in all, tells the story of the ship's efforts to get home, and all the friends they meet along the way.
"Voyager" is also one of the most racially diverse Star Trek series, including actors who are African American, Asian American and Latino/Native American.

A Great start to the show! submitted by PeachLily on August 10, 2022, 1:28pm From the start, Kate Mulgrew is excellent as Captain Janeway, pure magic. This is my favorite iteration of Star Trek hands down. We desperately needed a female Captain and more nuanced and intersectional plotlines and Voager gave it to us. I adore the characters and the chemistry between them and it is so special how they are able to grow over the seasons and adapt to their journey. Voyager does a good job of reminding you of the stakes of their travels and the actors really bring another level of depth with their performances. Tuvok, Bellana , and Nelix are some of my favorite characters <3
