The lush synth layerings and dreamy pop melodies create the most striking, yet warm atmosphere out of ersatz instruments, but the real strength of the record is its ability to sustain and build this base into surprisingly moving conclusions on most tracks.

Plug yourself into some solid headphones and crank the volume up or you'll miss out on the wealth of great tinkering sounds on this record. Gonzalez invites multiple listenings through what can at times be an overwhelming tidal wave of music in each song.
