I liked this submitted by brooksza on August 15, 2022, 3:16pm I liked this. I had heard the odd ones in the series are the weaker ones, but this matched my expectations. I can imagine it may have been frustrating to wait a few years for a glorified setup episode that undoes the stakes of the last movie, but having only waited a day I didn't mind that as much. Plus it was fun to see Kirk essentially watch Wrath of Khan.

Plus Christopher Lloyd was a surprise cast member and I love a mid-80s movie that ends with CL in a giant storm.

The Horner score and DeForest Kelley were my heroes of the film. Some picturesque skies, especially when the heroes arrive at Genesis.
