Good but a bit predictable submitted by clmcdl on June 19, 2015, 10:10am Nora Roberts provides an interesting story and her writing is always good. This one was a bit predictable, as we could anticipate how it would end. However, it's always fun to see how she gets to that conclusion. Good characters and interactions.

January LaVoy makes it worthwhile submitted by cmeza on November 11, 2023, 9:58pm Another stellar reading by January LaVoy who does the mid-southern accent of our damsel-in-distress protagonist; all other characters including credible male voices as well as the child in the story who can get a bit cloying at times. Even Ms. LaVoy can't save us from some lagging passages, regional stereotypes, and the predictability of the plot thought. All and all, it's entertaining on a long trip and won't distract you too much from your driving.
