When Henry discovers that he has only six weeks to live, he plans to spend his last days in seclusion. He pays full price on a house in a drab, middle-class, L.A. neighborhood. Just as he settles in with a case of vodka and all the junk food he can eat, his well-meaning busybody neighbor drops by with a plate of tamales. Henry eventually finds himself gradually drawn back toward life.
