Blood Diamond submitted by DBJC on August 25, 2011, 11:30pm I watched this for economics extra credit and I'm glad I did. It's a very emotional movie that tells the story of a man living during the war in Sierra Leone. It's very good and it's historically accurate. The opening scenes were shockingly almost identical to the scenes from the documentary I saw right before I watched this movie. I recommend it to those who doesn't mind watching the violence of war, but also considers the pain that real Africans had to go through.

Good Movie submitted by jarroyo on August 1, 2012, 12:33pm This movie is much better than I expected. There is a lot of violence, so if you are okay with seeing that you will enjoy this movie. It's sad to see what it is like in war-torn countries.

Incredible submitted by YongxinZheng on July 2, 2018, 6:38pm I watch this movie as extra credit as well. I thought it is a boring movie before I watched it, however, I’m totally wrong. This movie is so great that it impressed me. It shows the bloody truth after diamond trade by telling the story of Solomon. After watching it, I don’t really want any diamond jewelry for wedding any more.
