My Children Were Rapt submitted by jibkidder on July 1, 2022, 11:12pm The book held my kids attention for a long car ride. The reader has a low voice and makes a real effort to tackle different genders and accents, at times failing comically. Sometimes I imagined it was Steven Soderbergh reading. The book is comically obsessed with celebrity and power, I mean, the author seems to value these things in a deranged way and as that theme interacted with the completely flat characterizations, I couldn't decide if the best adjective for this trash was Republican or American.

Maze of Bones submitted by JHermanowski on July 1, 2022, 11:31pm Fun listen with lots of little history tidbits thrown into the mix. Great story about two siblings trusting each other in a very unusual and exciting circumstance. Definitely could not wait to read/listen to book 2.
