COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Chilling Thriller in Snowy Russia submitted by siobhan on January 5, 2009, 9:49am This a top-notch thriller from Brad Anderson, director of "The Machinist". Woody Harrelson and Emily Mortimer play a married couple leaving Beijing after some charity work who decide to take the Transsiberian Railroad (at 8 days, the longest in the world) through southern Russia to Moscow. They meet a possibly shady young couple on the train, and become involved in a very dangerous relationship with the truth. From Ben Kingsley's character: "In Russia, we say that with lies you may go forward in the world, but you may never go back." The movie was tense without being predictable and I was completely engrossed.
