Its science fiction submitted by r-chopra on July 18, 2012, 10:00pm Its a science fiction story..good one.

Entertaining! submitted by sfrantom on August 9, 2018, 1:49pm This is definitely entertaining, but might also intrigue a viewer enough to decide they want to dig deeper into the concepts of geology, volcanoes, plate tectonics, etc. While a far cry from the Jules Verne original, it's still likely to make you curious about some of his ideas!

Journey to the Center of the Earth submitted by lstorc on July 23, 2019, 10:42pm Fraser is fantastic in this role! This is by far one of the best adaptations of Journey to the Center of the Earth!

Oh shucks. A remake. submitted by ccrose on August 31, 2019, 8:44pm The original was without high tech. There were the sort of King Kong/ Tyranocaures
projected forms that were adroitly filmed.
But the sets were magnificent. Rocks, larger rocks, glowing rocks, oozing rocks. Now same set, just coming out of computers. But I would have loved to work on that primitive set.

Good submitted by nolanmcpherson on July 8, 2021, 7:19pm Good sci fi movie.
