Good, Solid Rock submitted by Meginator on July 31, 2011, 10:18pm Having been a big blink-182 fan for a long time, I was excited to finally take a listen to Tom's post-band project; I was not disappointed. His signature vocal stylings hold up well even in this lighter, still punk-inspired music, and give Angels & Airwaves a unique, but pleasantly familiar sound. I wouldn't go so far as to rate the album a classic, but I do think the album represents a personal maturation as well as showcasing Tom's abilities outside of the aesthetic of blink-182.
