Billy Elliot The Musical submitted by SBNB on June 16, 2021, 2:21pm I wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I did. I loved the original movie, and I expected this to be like my experience with Les Miserables (to like the story but then the musical is long and drawn out and boring). This is an excellent retelling of the story with great songs and not too much drawn-out extra stuff. The part with the letter from his mom and then his letter back made me tear up. I definitely recommend this. Great story, great music, great dancing.
