Pretty Good submitted by mysterio on June 27, 2012, 1:58am Compared to the third and second Spiderman films, I thought this one was pretty good. It had all of the elements a good superhero movie should have.

Spider-Man 3 is an abomination torn asunder by "fans" wanting one thing, the director wanting another, and the producers wanting something else entirely.

Spider-Man 1 was great in its time. It was one of the best superhero movies when it came out. However, the times have changed, and Marvel has continued to show us how to properly make a superhero movie. Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and now the Avengers have all exceeded expectations and shown us what a superhero movie can really be if made by people with passion.

So Sony, please give Spider-Man back to Marvel studios so they can do it right.

Spidey Done Right submitted by dvolpe on August 24, 2014, 2:07pm Over the years this movie has been eclipsed by newer, shinier models, but at the time of it's release many were not even sold on the super hero genre in movies. The quality and financial success of this movie opened the door for many of the marvel movies that came after, and it captured the vicarious excitement of a young Peter Parker web slinging for the first time better than any movie has before or since.
