Title Checks Out submitted by Meginator on July 14, 2023, 11:54pm Some of the background loops on this album sound like they were done on a Casio keyboard, but honestly that adds a sense of homebrew charm to these electronic tracks. Nothing here is particularly refined, but it's all done with great conviction and with nice variation between tracks. Listeners of a certain age will especially appreciate the dark grunge tribute to the L Word's classic theme song, which is undoubtedly the highlight. If you go in with appropriate expectations, you can have a lot of fun with this.
