LOVED this! submitted by gardenfaerie on June 15, 2019, 4:22pm I never, ever expected to like this program. Each episode is great, but especially the one with Ruth Gordon. Columbo is the best. Everyone underestimates him because of his somewhat bumbling manner and crumpled attire (and perhaps his beat-up car), but he skillfully navigates each crime and in fact has a very skillful mind. And all the references to his wife, whom we never see, are a funny aside. She is multifaceted with many interests and hobbies, and you always wonder what he's going to mention next -- that she skydives, is a secret agent, has won the Great British Bakeoff? :)
