For nineteen-year-old Jay, the fall should be about school, boys and weekends at the lake. Yet, after a seemingly innocent sexual encounter she suddenly finds herself plagued by nightmarish visions; she can't shake the sensation that someone, or something, is following her. As the threat closes in, Jay and her friends must somehow escape the horrors that are only a few steps behind.

Eerie! submitted by KOH on August 2, 2017, 10:36am You wouldn't think that the concept of a slow moving creature would be frightening, but soon I was scouring the background of every scene, looking for one of these ghosts. Had me on edge to the end. Quality horror movie.

Amazing submitted by anacoluthon on August 27, 2018, 1:47pm Normally I'm not a horror fan, and the premise sounded silly to me... But holy wow, this is such a brilliantly made film. Everything about the movie is designed to set you on edge, to unsettle you. The time period is ambiguous, seemingly both the 80s/90s and present day. And then the terrifying synth-electronic soundtrack by Disasterpeace (known for video game soundtracks) just brings it all together.
