Aidan Turner's Poldark is fierce in the face of adversity, but tempered with kindness and a serious care for those who depend on him and the failing mine his father left him. When Capt. Poldark returns from the revolutionary war, he finds more than just a few surprises that ensure a trying period of life for him. But with determination and a mind to bring up the low-standards of respect his father left for the family, Ross surprises everyone with the strides he makes towards regaining the honor his name once inspired - even amidst enemies that try to flout him and complications that block his way. Actress Eleanor Tomlinson also lends a genuine and powerful performance as Demelza. Such a great watch - so take a look!

Eleanor Tomlinson delivers a wonderful performance and stands out among the other actors, Her character is hilarious and powerful in her own quiet way.
