Talented Tween Pop submitted by Meginator on August 22, 2020, 9:34pm Listening to this album, it’s easy to see why Disney’s bet on this fraternal trio paid off big: the Jonas Brothers are incredibly talented performers who hit all the right notes in their radio-friendly tween pop. This album’s upbeat tracks hold up surprisingly well, even if its ballads are uninspiring both in lyrical and musical content and in vocal delivery (crooners they are not), and it’s hard to listen to this without smiling. The earnestness and angst of teenage love lives on, wrapped in catchy hooks and delivered with a sense of fun that is contagious from the band to the listener.
