COMMUNITY REVIEWS

It's my job...to steal and rob...GRAAAAAAAVESSS!" submitted by Dragonessa on December 1, 2009, 9:48am Repo! The Genetic Opera is a triumph of movie-making. True, the bigwig reviewers slammed it into the ground, but it has a cult following that cannot be ignored. The movie centers around a bleak future on Earth in the year 2056. In this film's future, organ failures have decimated the planet and the only savior is a company called GeneCo which will give you new organs...but with a heavy price tag attached. If you don't keep up with your payments...you are hunted down by the Repo Man! And he doesn't bother to send a message or call you...he'll just rip the still beating heart from your chest!

Each and every character is amazingly well done from the mysterious and darkly charming GraveRobber (Terrance Zdunich) to the innocent and sweet Shilo (Alexa Vega) and even the kindhearted yet twisted Nathan Wallace (Anthony Stewart Head). The songs are catchy and fun, especially "Zydrate Anatomy".

If you are a fan of horror and rock operas then this movie is for you! I enjoyed it because it was just so different from everything out there!

sickening... submitted by lekendrick on September 18, 2011, 10:43am they sing all the way through this thing it's lost from an eight million dollar budget about eight million dollars to date & saw me take tweeter commercial say nobody from the saw series of horror film gonna be telling me how make a movie. It's just so very bad! It's not a movie so much as a crime. Words can't do it justice honestly it's worst elements classic film in infancy Nosferatu (1922) w/o luxury of coming first!
