Odd British humor submitted by willow on August 1, 2017, 6:24pm Ricky Gervais decides to send his friend (?) Karl around the world to have a laugh, because Karl finds many things astonishing and disgusting or weird. Is some of it rude? Perhaps. But parts of it are pretty funny, because, let's face it, many things in the world ARE bizarre! And they find a lot of those things to film in this show.

In some ways, it's a welcome break from the typical travel shows, where everything appears to be very clean and normal and wonderful.
