COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Very personal submitted by GJBarnett2 on July 18, 2015, 12:52pm Not a general history of the war but rather a series of personal stories of citizens of 4 American communities within a broad outline of the US participation in the war. For example, only 2-3 sentences about the Battle of Leyte Gulf, the largest naval battle in history, but almost 7 minutes about the sinking of the USS Indianapolis.
