Many years in the future after the exploits of Yugi Mutou, Domino City has become a shadow of its former self: Neo Domino City. There lies a strong divide between the rich and the poor and bridging that gap proves to be difficult. Neo Domino seems fit to entertain itself with a wild new event called "Riding Duels", the newest form of playing the ever popular Duel Monsters card game. Enter Yusei Fudou, a young man who lives on the edge of the law, making his own rules.

Card Games on Motorcyclllllllles! submitted by LuzrovRulay on August 10, 2016, 5:57pm I admit, when I first saw and heard about YuGiOh 5D's, I was petty sure the franchise had gone bonkers and lost it's touch, but I was pleasantly surprised. The story is a bit odd at first, but this is YuGiOh, where the world's fate depends on trading cards. Odd is a relative term.

Like any series, some characters are a bit annoying and some are incredible, but getting to see such a wide cast is always great. The humour is good, and while this season was a little dark (again, relative term for YuGiOh) I'm glad I watched it.

Now I just need to find enough free time to finish it completely.
