Love and ideals during the revolution submitted by Kimberlyrol on July 25, 2015, 5:29pm Set in Paris during the revolutionary period of 1848, this book details the story of a bourgeois young man and his dedicated love from afar for the wife of an art dealer, whom he befriends. Detail of life during that period makes the book engaging, however it is tedious at times.
