What a Voice submitted by Meginator on July 7, 2017, 12:00pm Brandi Carlile's voice is raw and evocative and perfectly suited to the lyrics she sings throughout this album. She leans more toward the slower, ballad side of folk-rock and sings with a ton of emotion in every note. This is a great album and "The Story" (the song) is already an iconic modern classic.
