Intense Film submitted by Beth Manuel on July 2, 2015, 8:51am I found this film to be a fascinating character study. Bradley Cooper really transformed his persona to embody Chris Kyle. The violence was hard to watch; that was to be expected. War isn't pretty and I'm not a fan of war in general. It appeared to be a realistic portrayal of what Falujah and other war torn cities look like. Scary.

Highly Regarded submitted by strawberryhead on May 9, 2016, 11:12am I thought this movie was well acted and put together, Clint Eastwood did a great job directing here. Going into watching the movie I thought I would be more "upset" watching the war scenes but the violence was not over the top for war scenes and was well balanced with the non war scenes, giving you the needed effect of both. Even though I know the ultimate ending of the story this movie was so well made that I immediately burst into tears when the words popped on screen. I think this spot was where most people had the same reaction. To have that effect on a large audience shows that Eastwood and the editors are good film-makers.

Good adaptation submitted by beeniepie on July 17, 2016, 2:28pm Eastwood delivered a compelling adaptation of the controversial best selling book. Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller gave convincing performances of a married couple struggling to redefine a marriage put on pause during Kyle's service overseas.

good submitted by rjsjwilliams on August 11, 2018, 1:18pm Clint Eastwood has done some of his best works by directing in his later years. The story of Chris Kyle, sniper, husband and father has served his country and then is killed by an ill individual who he tries to help. Very intense

A grand film submitted by yufamily on August 27, 2019, 4:42pm Bradley Cooper did an excellent job!
