Another great novel-based Araki film submitted by jibkidder on June 28, 2022, 8:24am Like "Mysterious Skin" this is another well-made fiction narrative based on a novel (in this case by Laura Kasischke) about a girl's sexual coming of age with great music by Harold Budd in collaboration with the Cocteau Twin's Robin Guthrie. In only wish this time had made into movies every book of transgressive fiction out there!
