Screen print on paper. Michigan artist. Dennis and Christina Jacobs are the husband and wife team behind Arsenal Handicraft. Together these Michiganders use screenprinting and letterpress to create cards, large prints, and even clipboards. Their process is collaborative. The couple brainstorms ideas together, Dennis sketches the illustrations, Christina mixes colors, and then the ideas come to life in their home studio.

The darker color palette gives it a wintry feeling, but the bold colors have enough contrast to make the image clear, even from a distance. Everything comes together in a mixture of melancholy and delight, and it really sets the mood for the dark winter nights.
