Read by Sunil Malhotra.
Two brothers bound by tragedy. A fiercely brilliant woman haunted by her past. A country torn by revolution. A love that lasts long past death. An extraordinary new novel, set in both India and America, that expands the scope and range of one of our most dazzling storytellers: the best-selling author of The Namesake and Unaccustomed Earth.
COMMUNITY REVIEWS
slow entry, but great overall

It took a few tries for me to get into this book. I read Jhumpa Lahiri for the ways in which she writes about families and relationships. The history was a bit overwhelming at times, especially because it is not something with which I am familiar.
I enjoyed the non-linear approach to showing the characters' motivations and reasoning.
