wow submitted by Dron.Druheen on August 18, 2015, 3:23pm So good

Ice submitted by c_zhang on June 16, 2019, 6:27pm The faded out style of this is reminiscent of a cold winter day.

The Break-Up of Ice submitted by JY 2005 on June 19, 2019, 11:42pm I like that the artist chose to use many different shades of blues and grays. The cool colors make this print look like it was a cold winter day.

The Break-Up of the Ice submitted by i'm a blobfish on June 22, 2019, 4:34pm I like all the different shades of blue used, like green and purple. They bring the whiteness of the piece out. The subtle reflection of the ice towers in the icy waters is really realistic.

The Break-Up of the Ice submitted by Varshini on June 23, 2019, 11:03pm I really like how pale the colors are in this. However, I wish there was a bit more contrast so that the different parts could stand out more.

Neat submitted by avrogers1 on July 12, 2019, 2:42pm This is a really cool print. I like the textures

interesting submitted by .-.-.-. on July 26, 2019, 7:58pm I like how it looks nice even with just a similar shade of color. The subject feels a bit sad though. 3/5 stars.

The Break-Up of the Ice submitted by lstorc on July 28, 2019, 7:45pm The Break-Up of the Ice is a phenomenal, pastel landscape with depth and incredible use of color.

Grey color is difficult to get right submitted by Michael Flynn on April 4, 2021, 11:16am Nailed it! The grey overcast sky is realized by color mixing that makes this painting feel real.

The Break-Up of the Ice submitted by SBNB on June 23, 2022, 10:31pm I like the reflections. I wish the colors were more vivid, but since it's ice, it's not too distracting that it's dull.

Incredible Imagery submitted by Meginator on July 2, 2023, 11:17am This painting isn’t as celebrated as some of Monet’s other works, but it is just as compelling and perhaps more so for his very subtle use of color. Though the thumbnail might make this print look like a large block of boring white, the image is full of details and subtle uses of color that come together to present a surprisingly rich landscape and a striking image with a sense of motion to it. Monet was an absolute master, and this is yet another demonstration of his incredible, unique vision and artistic skills.
