More Than Meets the Eye submitted by Meginator on July 9, 2023, 8:21pm This print has a lot of texture to it and it seems like the original artwork is made of several strips of fabric, which gives it some depth that works well in its large size. The color palette is both bright and gentle and feels a bit like a sunrise, although the individual bands of color are set and don’t fade into each other. It also offers some surprises that you can’t really see until you get up close to it, which is always a pleasant discovery; there’s more to it than initially meets the eye. The print had a brightening effect on the room we put it in and its warm colors worked particularly well in a space that doesn’t receive a lot of natural light.
