Room in Brooklyn submitted by i'm a blobfish on June 19, 2019, 9:51pm I like the composition and the darker colors used in this piece to really bring out that feeling of a homey atmosphere.

Room in Brooklyn submitted by Varshini on June 25, 2019, 12:50am I love the contemporary feel to this print. This room looks quite sophisticated. 5/5

beautiful submitted by .-.-.-. on July 16, 2019, 8:09pm The view is so BEAUTIFUL! The shade of brown looks so nice, as does the blue sky. The green carpeting is a nice touch and stands out against everything else. A great painting. 5/5 stars.

Room in Brooklyn by Hopper submitted by tonomura on July 4, 2020, 10:02am Edward Hopper captures a pensive moment of a woman, as he does in many other paintings which feature one woman, and are all suggestive of little and big troubles in her life that she needs to think about or talk it over. This one, she looks outward through a window, into a medium-length urban but lonely space out there, and she is thinking about what? I love Hopper because he allows women's often "feelings in solace" (even if there is another person) to be transmitted to the viewer, in colors that highlight her place in her life, that we get to imagine, ponder, guess, make a story about....? Quite different in tone from some of his other paintings where men are active, in motion, and definitive or purposeful.

lovely submitted by crp on July 29, 2020, 2:28pm I really enjoy all of Edward Hopper's work, and this one is no exception!
