Sounds Just Like the Title Implies submitted by Meginator on June 12, 2021, 9:49am This compilation features Christmas songs from classic jazz and blues artists, although not all of the tracks are done in the classic New Orleans style. It’s a nice change of pace from the classic and modern pop versions that get played on the radio, and the lineup includes stalwarts like Louis Armstrong and Al Hirt as well as underappreciated singers like Mildred Bailey. The music has real soul to it in a way that has disappeared from a lot of holiday music, making this album a real pleasure to listen to for a welcome change of pace.
