Bicycle Suite--London submitted by marisal on August 22, 2011, 6:12pm I like this picture. The red door really stands out.

Neat submitted by jarroyo on July 28, 2013, 10:53am I think this print is kind of neat. I like the red door.

Nice Piece submitted by Avliss on July 7, 2014, 9:24pm Like others have mentioned, the colouring of the door provides a nice contrast with the rest of the painting. My favourite aspect of this painting is the bicycle leaning against the fence, just waiting for its rider to come back out.

Red Door submitted by jgetty on June 17, 2015, 7:06am I have on my to-do list to paint my front door red - it's a sign of Good Luck, I believe.

High contrast submitted by terpsichore17 on August 7, 2018, 9:53am Evocative picture outside a flat.

I'm curious as to why I can't find much about Mr. Rodriguez's work.

Bicycle Suite submitted by c_zhang on June 16, 2019, 1:35pm I like how it seems to be a still frame of someone's day. The bike seems to almost wait for its rider.

Bicycle Suite submitted by i'm a blobfish on June 17, 2019, 9:42pm I love how it seems slightly tilted. The constant red really pops out here. I really love how the artist stayed in the same color scheme.

London submitted by Varshini on June 19, 2019, 11:59pm This does really remind me of London -- I think it's because of that shade of red. It's similar to the double-decker buses.

Bicycle Suit submitted by JY 2005 on June 20, 2019, 8:20pm I really like the bright color of the door in contrast to the nondescript building.

cool submitted by .-.-.-. on July 6, 2019, 8:49pm I don't know why but this picture really appears to me. The colors contrast well and make it stand out. There could be more detail though. 3/5 stars.

Bike submitted by markwells on August 22, 2019, 6:44pm Of course the red door stands out nicely. But I like the potential for freedom and fun that the bike represents. Grade: A-.

Liked this print submitted by bookher on June 17, 2021, 11:53am I really loved this print on my wall and wished I could keep it.

One of our favorites submitted by jaxxin on February 11, 2024, 3:17pm We’ve hung 15-20 paintings from AADL throughout our house over the last few years — van Gogh, Monet, landscapes, youthful, modern— and this is one of everyone’s favorites.. it’s interesting because I expected it to be tacky, a cliche of London like a poster of a double decker bus. And in the thumbnail it looks like a mere poster with text at the bottom, “LONDON”.

But once hanging in our landing between bedroom doors, it instantly changed the whole feeling of the space. It’s very casual and relaxed yet smart and stylish, modern yet yesteryear, and something about home and everyday life but far away with possibility of adventure.

One expects it to be a photo or photo realistic, but it is painted in a fuzzy dreamy technique. So many contrasts but balanced. It looks great and feels great, and we’ve been happy to see it every day. So is it trite? Is it art? Who cares, we love it.
