Maze Runner submitted by SBNB on July 3, 2015, 3:08pm Good movie. Having no knowledge of the story or the books, I found it very entertaining. Now I plan to read the books.

Well done submitted by Duckling on August 4, 2016, 9:23pm I enjoyed this movie. I hadn't read the book before watching it. But the storyline is very good and the actors do a great job. I am not sure how on track the movie is to the book but I hope they didn't change much.

Good submitted by hollieesper121573 on August 29, 2016, 9:56pm Liked it gonna read the book now

Movie vs. Book submitted by lollycandy on June 19, 2018, 4:25pm The cinematic effects and scenery of the movie were good. The maze wall was especially fantastic; It was rightfully portrayed as imposing.
One difference that I saw between the movie and the book is that the movie focused more on setting and seemed to be more slowly paced in the beginning, while the book focused on the plot and character development. I enjoyed the movie for that. We got to know soft parts of the characters well and empathize with them. I enjoyed how the movie was staged to emphasize the theme of, "Do the ends justify the means? Should we put children under this immense pressure so that we can save the rest of mankind?" I just wish the movie was longer so it could have included more stuff from the book.
If you liked this, read "Ender's Game". It talks about that same theme, and it has an engaging fast-moving plot.

AHHHHH submitted by Shahed on August 17, 2018, 5:05pm I FIND THE MOVIE BETTER THAN THE BOOK(VERY RARE)

Ok submitted by anacoluthon on August 20, 2018, 3:56am A decent dystopian action movie, but given the source material don't expect them to get any better.

Good movie, bad sequels submitted by jubabcock on July 3, 2019, 12:57pm The movie is awesome, filled with action, horror, and drama leaving you with the sensation of dread and being very pumped. The movie has amazing cinematography and is faithful to the books.
Sadly, the other movies are just down right awful compared to the first, plus the story in the other movies are just... horrible compared to the book. I read all the books and love the series but can't wrap my head around the movies.
But don't get me wrong, The Maze Runner is a good movie worth watching, can't say that about the others.
