In the span of a single day, the town of Silverton is ravaged by an unprecedented onslaught of tornadoes. The entire town is at the mercy of the erratic and deadly cyclones, even as storm trackers predict the worst is yet to come. Most people seek shelter, while others run towards the vortex, testing how far a storm chaser will go for that once-in-a-lifetime shot.
DVD, region 1, dual-layer format, widescreen presentation; 5.1 Dolby Digital surround.

Incredibly bad submitted by sara on June 12, 2015, 1:31pm Incredibly bad. Rogue tornadoes spring up all over, but there is no explanation for the occurrence. I was looking forward to a stereotypical disaster film, but this was too bad to be good.

Into The Storm submitted by SBNB on July 13, 2015, 9:28pm I find tornadoes both terrifying and fascinating. This movie didn't have much of any science in it, but if you can manage a certain level of suspension of disbelief, there's definitely some entertainment here. After the initial scene, the main story starts off slow and forced. Storm chasers trying to get the tornado of a lifetime, it's been done before. But while Twister focused on the love story of the storm chasers, the most compelling human story in this movie comes from a father and his two sons. Also, it was interesting that the movie seemed to mirror a documentary I had seen about a storm chaser with his armored vehicle trying to get the shot of the inside of a tornado for his movie. In any case, no, this isn't a spectacular movie, but it entertained, it wasn't so incredibly horrible. I've seen so much worse in tornado movies and other disaster movies.
