Decide on a Name submitted by ssmyth on July 3, 2015, 4:12am This movie is called both "Edge of Tomorrow" and "Live, Die, Repeat". In some ways it is like Groundhog day in that the person keeps reliving the same 'day' over and over - but it's not funny or sweet.

Mesmerising submitted by leenajong on August 18, 2015, 9:49pm I'm not sure why, but I find myself watching it over and over again.

Good action movie submitted by JulieCraig on July 2, 2016, 8:38pm Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt and the other cast members do a good job with this movie. This action and special effects are impressive. Story is pretty good. Sci Fi fans will enjoy this.

Edge of My Seat submitted by LibraryLiz on July 27, 2016, 5:56pm This movie is like the scarier, more intense, action-packed version of Bill Murray's "Groundhog Day" and it's just as lovable as that old classic. With Tom Cruise being a wise-cracking Military PR guy who gets sent to the front lines of a Humans vs. Aliens end-all battle, he coincidentally gets surged with the ability to start each day over again each time he dies. You watch as Cruise's character shifts from a scared newbie to a powerhouse of ability when he's had days to prepare for each event. The team-work between Blunt and Cruise is phenomenal and this film really addresses what makes each day worth living. If you're in the mood for an action-packed comedy with the capability to have you at the edge of your seat, check this one out!

Action! submitted by KOH on August 28, 2017, 7:43pm Fun action movie!

Gritty with a good character arc submitted by mandevil on December 30, 2020, 2:21pm One of Tom Cruise’s best performances.. He starts out as a smug media type thrust into an unwanted role as a hard hitting fighter. Good action and interesting story. Emily Blunt is great as his fellow co-combatant as they race to save the human race.

Well-done Action submitted by wendylv on July 22, 2021, 3:40am Very intense battle scenes (so not for the younger viewers) but outstanding editing makes this a great action movie. It’s still unclear to me why Tom Cruise the PR guy is sent to the front lines, but setting that aside the story works well. Great performances from Emily Blunt, Bill Paxton, and Noah Taylor.
