A piece of home submitted by K09Aguilera on June 16, 2017, 10:22am I was so enchanted by this piece that I've been on a year-long search to find a print-copy. I used to live in the middle of the Mitten-- tucked into the amber farmland. It currently hangs in my kitchen and serves as reminder of where I long to return. The autumns are dappled with plum, gold, and deep roan; the dilapidated barns with it stone foundation, the gate ill-tended, the rippling grasses, and bone-like birches reaching toward a robin's egg sky -- all haunting as only a fairy tale might illustrate.
