Collects short stories following the adventures of magical hero Geralt.
"Geralt is a witcher, a man whose magic powers, enhanced by long training and a mysterious elixir, have made him a brilliant fighter and a merciless assassin. Sucks you in! submitted by parlettes on July 18, 2020, 1:47pm Some fantasy worlds are fun for a short time but the world Sapkowski has created is endlessly interesting. Through this book you get to know Geralt more and humanize him, despite the fact that he won't humanize himself. If you like sword-and-stone fantasies, this is a great series for you.
Another great book in the Series submitted by sbtaylor on August 22, 2020, 12:49pm I love the witcher series, but to me this novel is more of a prequel/background novel rather than the sequal to the Last Wish (first book in the series). As a stand alone, you need some background with the Witcher (even just watching the Netflix show would be enough) to really get into it - but once you are, it's a thrilling read! The world building is really intricate and interesting.
