Great follow-up submitted by rachelmcglash on July 5, 2018, 8:45pm Wonderful continuation of the story. Can't wait for the conclusion.

2nd submitted by kathscot on July 6, 2018, 10:54pm The first book is better, but this is still great storytelling, and keeps you interested. I also look forward to the conclusion.

Russian fairytales submitted by admaclean on July 21, 2018, 10:52pm Almost as good as the first one in the series! I’m always pleasantly surprised by this author!

Still going strong! submitted by mowjac on July 27, 2018, 8:31am Second books are always iffy, where you find out if the author can continue with the same qualities that engage you in the first one. Arden doesn't disappoint and while it takes some time to get going, she finishes strong and with our heroine true to herself.

More adventures for Vasya submitted by wickedcellist on August 1, 2023, 1:46pm Our hero continues her horseback journey to Moscow. We get to know her siblings better. Frost returns, and new characters are introduced. Like the first, it started with a relevant fairytale. Very great book. Excited to read the third.
