Gorgeous Designs submitted by howarde on August 8, 2019, 1:16pm This has to be my favorite embroidery book that I've come across. I like Higuchi's simple botanical designs—which are heavy on chain stitch and french knots. All of the designs are meant to be worked in one or two colors, but I have had success with using several colors as well. I can't speak to the sewing patterns and instructions because I don't sew.
