Sanderson's stories are gifts submitted by Susan4Pax -prev. sueij- on June 20, 2020, 3:05pm I didn’t realize that I had actually read this in a larger collection of Sanderson stories, but was delighted to read it again as its own solo story. Lift (the main character) is a fascinating young lady with a wildly independent worldview unlike most characters in almost any fiction. Sanderson, as always, gifts us with wonderful stories and new angles on his worlds. I look forward to seeing Lift again in more books.
