Adventure submitted by thomasgoldring on July 25, 2018, 8:22pm Sequel to Zog and the princess doctor. Great story, can't go wrong with Julia Donaldson

Bang crash thump! submitted by crp on August 5, 2019, 9:44pm My favorite line in this book as my kid goes bananas for it!

Good Story, Awkward Meter submitted by Meginator on June 12, 2021, 12:49pm While I loved Axel Scheffler’s visual design and the story’s ending, which brings everything together (Julia Donaldson wastes no space, and every page is important to the story as a whole), the rhythmic hiccups detracted from my experience of this book. I often had difficulty finding the proper stress patterns, making this a tricky book to read aloud without a practice run-through. But the illustration is nice, the story is fun with just a hint of silliness to it, and Donaldson even adds a nice moral lesson to the mix without being overtly didactic. I hope to see more of Zog in the future!
