Fairly Good Book submitted by denisemw on August 26, 2020, 12:20am The book was insightful and conveyed personal insights. I expected it to more about what happened strategically and/or execution-wise in the 2016 campaign, sort of like a lessons-learned, but not a lot about this. I enjoyed the personal information and the early years of a very interesting life story. I imagine this was a very cathartic book to write.

I did not care for the some of the policy details about 75% of the way through the book.

It is very interesting as Hillary comes across that in personal relationships where the other individual has experienced something unfortunate or is in a unfavorable situation, she will be sympathetic, non-judgmental, and just say "That's a bad break/situation/feel for you". In public, she quickly moved to the how-to-fix stage, and this negatively affected her relationships with some voters. I think if she would have let more of the private Hillary be displayed, or leverage those feelings, it would helped her.
