Fascinating history submitted by edb.blanchard on July 25, 2018, 11:38am I love history, especially the Gilded Age and Denise Kiernan weaves the historical accurate documents with vivid descriptions. I visited the Biltmore in the middle of reading this book, and it was wonderful reading before seeing the house and after! It is a great read even if you have not been to the house. Though now I would love to get a tour lead by Denise!
