So many flavors! submitted by FordAlpha on August 31, 2019, 11:38pm I'm unlikely to make very many recipes from this book, even though they are written in a clear and accessible way, because so many of them would require special trips to find ingredients, and that's difficult with little kids. Still, I immensely enjoyed reading this book, learning about the culture of ice cream and other frozen treats in Mexico and fantasizing about the recipes I might make some day. The photographs of both locations and prepared recipes are beautiful. I have previously read Fany Gerson's "Paletas" and "My Sweet Mexico", and even though there's a lot of overlap in material, I happily read this book cover-to-cover.
