Turtle the SeaWing dragon has long dreamed of being a hero, but when the companions inadvertently free Darkstalker, the oldest and most powerful dragon, from the spell that has trapped him, the best he can come up with is a spell that prevents the ancient dragon from seeing him or hearing his thoughts--Darkstalker claims he has changed, but Turtle suspects that he still plans to control dragonkind.

Dark stalker seems like he changed but there are a few dragons left including turtle who still feel suspicious... plus turtle becomes less of a boring puddle

A lot of animus submitted by IsaGab2 on August 24, 2019, 10:20am It was very interesting reading a book from the perspective of an animus dragon. It’s interesting to see how a fellow animus interprets Darkstalker’s actions, and how being an animus doesn’t necessarily solve all problems (Turtle also happens to be a coward so that doesn’t help). He’s a lot like Starflight, and I liked his perspective, so it’s all good.

Awesome book! submitted by denise.f on June 17, 2020, 2:41pm Wings of Fire books are so cool because there is a lot of action. In this book in particular, Anemone battles Turtle because she doesn't believe he is an animus. I was surprised when I found out that DarkStalker is... (no spoiler!).
