Strong leading woman submitted by steveiew on June 19, 2018, 9:40am I really enjoyed Amani's strength throughout this series, especially in this book. She wasn't a damsel in distress, but a strong and fierce warrior. The story is well written and I enjoy getting to see the rational behind the Sultan's ruthlessness. It adds a shade of gray to a story with previously black and white good vs. evil.

A Great Sequel! submitted by ajstemp on June 27, 2018, 11:30am Often, the second book in a trilogy can feel stale and like it just exists to prepare for the third and final book — but not Traitor to the Throne! It adds so much depth to what Rebel of the Sands established, and it introduces new characters that give the story more complexity and meaning. Would definitely recommend!
