#1 in a new series submitted by GJBarnett2 on August 6, 2017, 3:17pm ... with an interesting protagonist, good characters and a built-in backstory. This is likely to grow in both directions with prequels as well as sequels. Something to look forward to. Highly recommended!

She works the night shift for punishment after filing a sexual harassment complaint against a supervisor. Usually she catches a case and then turns them over for the day shift, but this night she finds two cases she doesn't want to turn over. Though she is "encouraged" by a great number of people to drop it, she continues working both cases by day and as she goes along, she finds they intertwine.
