"From storytelling phenomenon The Moth: a collection about risk, courage, and facing the unknown, drawn from the best stories ever told on their stages. All These Wonders features voices both familiar and new. Storytellers include Louis C.K., Tig Notaro, John Turturro, and Meg Wolitzer, as well as a hip hop "one hit wonder," an astronomer gazing at the surface of Pluto for the first time, and a young female spy risking everything as part of Churchill's "secret army" during World War II. They share their ventures into uncharted territory--and how their lives were changed forever by what they found there. These true stories have been carefully selected and adapted to the page by the creative minds at The Moth, and will encompass the very best of the 17,000+ stories performed in live Moth shows around the world."-- Provided by publisher.

All these wonders...are truly wonderful submitted by cekandera on July 11, 2017, 10:51am What a beautiful collection. The stories in this book range from heartbreaking to hilarious; all of them incredibly poignant. Because none of the stories were connected in any way I could read as much or as little as I wanted in a day and not worry about forgetting key elements of plot or characters. I had only heard of the Moth briefly before picking up this book, but now I've been convinced to listen to their podcast just to hear more of these stories. This book is storytelling at its finest.

I'm obsessed with this book submitted by danibersche on August 9, 2019, 4:13pm This book is so gorgeous I am buying a copy, because I need to own it and be able to underline and mark it up and go back to it. Not to be dramatic, but this book gets at the heart of what it means to be human. I'm only halfway through it, and it's already made me ugly cry. 10/10, would highly recommend.
