Personal, funny, and useful submitted by ssands on August 31, 2020, 10:29pm This gardening book took off in a direction I would not have expected. A lot of it is about learning to be content with what you have available, instead of, for example, wasting time pinning for a 3 acre yard. Or about taking joy in small gardening moments. There's chapters about not biting off more than you can chew and getting your family to help. Other gardeners are interviewed and brief statements from experts are included. It's not an encyclopedic list of plants or a coffee table book of photos of the most beautiful gardens in the world. But there are useful things to learn here and inspiring stories from people who have started from less to make beautiful and productive gardens.
