I feel conflicted submitted by zwachtel50 on July 13, 2023, 8:46am On the one hand this book is definitely a page turner, and there were some parts that genuinely surprised me. On the other hand I really disliked Hattie, the girl who is killed (not a spoiler it’s the whole premise of the book), as well as many of the supporting characters. If you are into true crime it’s an interesting read, but wasn’t my favorite of the year. 3.5 stars
